Elevating Word Church is a multi-generational, multi-cultural, non-denominational church committed to connecting or reconnecting people to Jesus and equipping them to impact the world. A successful candidate will have a vital and personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be committed to living and modeling a Godly lifestyle inside and outside of the church. We are seeking someone who can help restructure and grow the youth ministry. The ideal candidate will be a leader who is innovative with high energy, character, integrity and passion.    
  • 2+ years of Youth Ministry experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Teachable with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, develop leaders, adults and youth.
  • Ability to deliver the Gospel through various means to elementary, middle and high schoolers.
  • Heart for youth and parents.
  • Creative with out the box thinking.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Drive to facilitate growth.
  • Possess a positive attitude, of good character and modeling Christian conduct.
  • Problem solver, must be solution oriented.
  • Competent with social media.


  • Work with the Senior Pastor and Leadership Team to restructure the Youth Ministry.
  • Organize and oversee all areas of the Youth Ministry; Elementary, Middle and Highschool.
  • The Youth Director will be attentive to the concerns and needs of youth in the community to determine how     the congregation might serve them and their families and how they might serve one another as Christian           disciples.
  • Plan events to get to know youth in the community.
  • Build relationships with schools, churches and other non-profits in the area. 
  • Plan weekly small group gatherings.
  • Plan monthly service projects, quarterly spiritual growth workshops and annual youth conferences.
  • Develop annual spiritual growth plans.  
  • Develop older high school students to take on leadership roles within the youth ministry and the church.
